Duck hunting is the focal point of this bucolic mural that works its way around the elevator door on the second floor. While the pigmentation appears different from the vibrant colors of Ben Cunningham's work just opposite, it's just due to her application of more pigment, and mixing it to be darker to obtain the colors of water and shadows. It is a beautiful rendering of outdoor California, and while the subject might be controversial in today's political environment in San Francisco, at the time it was an apolitical piece.
