Tightly incorporated with the elevator dial, this small oil-on-canvas lunette (one of four works by Oldfield in the elevator lobby) shows an outline map of the Bay Area in subdued colors. San Francisco and the Peninsula are at left, Marin County at right, and the Pacific Ocean at the top (in other words, the map's orientation is west is up). Like the other works in the elevator lobby, this was painted in the artist's studio on Telegraph Hill and hung here after it was completed.
